Dr Ghasemi received her Ph.D. and M.Sc. degree in Physical Chemistry from Sharif University of Technology. Her main research field was Water and Wastewater treatment. During her Ph.D., she spent a year as a visiting scholar at TUM CREATE a joint programme of TUM (Technical University Munich, Germany) and NTU (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore) in 2011. During 2012-2014, she was Research Associate and Research Fellow in TUM CREATE working on Lithium Ion Batteries specifically Thermodynamics of Lithium Ion Batteries. Currently she is Assistant Professor in Institute of Water and Energy in Sharif University of Technology working on both Water and wastewater treatment and Lithium ion battery
